How To Promote DigiStore24 Products?

In this segment, I will share the steps that you should follow to promote other people’s products, OK?

Step 1: Niche Identification

The first step for doing Affiliate Marketing is to identify your niche. For those of you who do not know what a niche is, I will say that niche is a segment of a large market. Niche is a small part of the big market, OK?

I always give the cake analogy to my students when I explain niches. As per my cake analogy, the cake represents the big market, and a slice of the cake represents the niche, got it?

For example, if health is the big market, “yoga for weight loss” is the niche, OK?

Every successful online entrepreneur has clarity about his/her niche. Or, if I may put it the other way, many Affiliate Marketers fail because they do not have clarity about their niche.

If you are a beginner and have no idea about your niche, I will ask you a few simple questions:

  • What are you passionate about?
  • What is that one thing which you can do hours upon hours?
  • What is that one thing which you will never get tired of doing?

Your answer to the above question will be your niche, alright?

Step 2: Product Selection

The second step is to select the product. Since we are talking about DigiStore24, you will find hundreds of products on the platform, and you can select one based on your niche, OK?

To select products, log in to your DigiStore24 account by clicking this link. After you reach the landing page, click “Login.”

After clicking “Login”, you will see the pop-up as depicted below. Enter the user name or e-mail that you used to register and then enter your password and click “Login.”

After a successful login, click “Marketplace” on the top-right of your laptop/desktop screen. On the left-hand panel, you will find many product categories under Digital Products. These categories are broad niches. You will find the affiliate products within these categories, alright?

For example, if I were to promote a product of the health niche, I will click “Fitness & Health” in the left-hand panel. Once the related products appear, I will select one and click, “Promote Now.”

Word Of Caution

Before selecting a product, please take care of a couple of things.

Firstly, the commission rate. If the commission rate. If the commission is less than $10, do not promote that product. You do not want to take effort, work hard, work overnight, and run ads for a product that pays you less than your pocket money, okay?

Secondly, if the cancellation of the product is more than the cart conversion, do not even consider that product. If the cancellation is higher than cart conversion, it suggests that people cancel the product more than they buy.

OK! We have selected the product that we will promote.

Step 3: Content Creation

Now, we will create content containing a brief description, features, benefits, and drawbacks of the product.

You can create content in any or many of the following formats:

Format 1: Product Review

The first method is Product Review. When you review a product, focus on the benefits, not the features, OK? People want to know if the product works and how it can help them. So, instead of sharing all the cool features of the products, share the benefits those features will have to the users, OK?

An ideal approach to product reviews is to present the products as solutions. While sharing how the product works, you can share how your life was before using the product and how it is, now, after using the product, OK?

Paint the ‘before-after’ picture in people’s minds and provide value.

Format 2: How-To Guide

The second type or format of content you can create is a how-to guide. In how-to guides, you could share the steps of how people can achieve their goals in a step-wise manner.

For example, if you are promoting a product that helps develop 6-pack abs, you can share the steps of how your audience can develop 6-pack abs, OK?

Please bear in mind that the users are normal people and they only want the steps of achieving their goal. So, do not go into technical details, if not needed, and try to share the steps in an easy-to-understand language, OK?

Format 3: Checklists

Let’s move to the third format, Checklists. A checklist is a list of items that must be done to achieve a goal. For example, if you want to bake a cake, you can create a checklist of the ingredients that you must have to successfully bake a cake, OK?

The checklist must contain all the items that people must use or the steps they must complete to achieve the ultimate goal, OK?

For example, if you are sharing a checklist for baking a cake, share all the ingredients people must use and if they miss even one item from the list, the end-product will be completely different, alright?

Format 4: Product Demonstration

Now, the fourth type of content you can publish is Product Demonstration. Although Affiliate Marketing is about promoting other people’s products, you can, in some cases, buy the products yourself, use them and share with your audience how those products work, alright?

Through product demonstrations, your audience will know how the product functions and they will realize the look-and-feel of it, OK?

You can purchase the product, use it and show people how it will provide value and solve problems, OK? You can also answer the top 3 questions that address people’s doubts and queries, OK?

Format 5: Case Studies

Now, we come to the fifth type of content that you can post, Case Studies. Look, long story short, people want to know if the product you are promoting works, isn’t it? So, share the results of people who used the product and got results, OK?

If you are promoting a weight loss product, you can publish a case study of someone who was overweight before using the product and saw results they desired after using the product, OK?

Case studies help greatly as they illustrate that people who use the product get results, alright? People want to know if products work, and case studies pretty much clear their doubts, alright?

And, always provide value! Always put people’s aspirations before yours. Your aim must be to help people, solve their problems, and provide them with value, OK?

Step 4: Promotion/Marketing

Now, let’s see the fourth step, Promotion or Marketing.

Until you promote your content, people will not know anything about you and the products and services you offer.

Promote content that solves people’s problems and provides them with value. So, before you promote your content on Facebook or WhatsApp, make sure that what you have created helps people and solves a specific problem your audience might be facing, OK? So, create content to help people and solve their problems, alright?

Now, You can promote your content on social media, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

Platform 1: Facebook

You can promote your videos on Facebook posts, stories, direct messages, and so on. You can also join a group related to your niche and share your videos. By posting in groups, I do not mean blindly posting the link. Write 3-4 lines telling people what the video is about and how they will get value from it.

Before posting anything anywhere, answer people’s question, “What is in it for me?”

Platform 2: Instagram

The second platform where you can share your content is Instagram. The first approach to sharing content on Instagram is to put the link to your video in your ‘bio’ section.

The second approach is to update an Instagram story with 3-4 lines telling people about the video and then adding the link.

Platform 3: WhatsApp

You can follow the same approach for WhatsApp. Write 3-4 lines telling people what the content is about and how it will help them and then put the link, OK?

This was about marketing on social media.

Platform 4: E-mail

You can follow the same approach for emails. You can send emails to people describing your content and telling what problem your blog or video solves and then add the link, OK?

Platform 5: Ads

The third method to promote content is by running ads on Facebook or Google.

Running ads will cost you money, so if you think your content is powerful to attract sales, go ahead. Affiliate Marketing is a “free of cost” business is a myth and there are occasions where you would need to invest money, alright?

Step 5: Traffic Generatiom

Now, the fifth step is Traffic Generation. You can generate traffic organically or you can run ads on Facebook or Google, OK?

WIthout traffic generation, you will fail to reach people, OK? No traffic will lead to no sales, so generate quality traffic, alright?

Step 6: Sales

The final step to do Affiliate Marketing is generating sales. Your content and how it helps people will help you to generate sales. Your content must be unique and you should solve people’s problems.

Please bear in mind that people are not looking for products, they are looking for solutions. So, if your content can bridge the gap and paint the picture in people’s minds about how the product can make their lives better, they will click your affiliate link and buy, OK?

No matter what your niche is, if you follow these 6 steps, you can do a good job!
