But First, Let Me Answer: “What Is A Webinar?”

What Is A Webinar

Dictionary.com defines a webinar as, “a seminar or other presentation that takes place on the internet, allowing participants in different locations to see and hear the presenter, ask questions, and sometimes answer polls.”

‘Webinar’ is a combination of two words” web” and “seminar”.

As per my experience, a webinar creates a direct channel of communication that helps you interact with your attendees.

Webinars help you to educate your audience, engage with them, and effectively offer your product. You can either host a live webinar or a recorded webinar.

In my experience, if you are a beginner, start with live webinars, and once you have a following, you can invite people to recorded webinars.

Things To Take Care Of Before Hosting A Webinar

A webinar is a powerful way of providing information and connecting with your audience. However, before hitting the “Start” button, you need to take care of a couple of things.

#1: The Webinar Title

The title of your webinar should be problem-focused. For instance, if you are going to conduct a webinar for a weight-loss product, the webinar title can be:

  • “3 secrets of getting a beach body”
  • “How you can lose weight in 6 easy steps?”

#2: The Content Should Provide Value

When you host a webinar, your aim must be to provide value. Whatever you share, it should help your attendees and solve one pressing problem they might be facing.

Your attendees should have a breakthrough while attending your webinar. They should feel that you have the potential to provide a solution to their problem. They should feel that they have made the best decision by joining your webinar.

If you want to know what you should share in your webinar for making ₹2,50,000 per webinar, you can join my paid community. Inside my community, I will share what you should cover in each minute of the webinar.

But Why Should I Host Webinars?

As I shared earlier, a webinar creates a direct channel of communication that helps you interact with your attendees. Webinars help you to educate your audience, engage with them, and effectively offer your product.

So if you are thinking about why you should host webinars, here are the top 7 reasons, according to me.

Reason 1: You Can Provide Value

Reason 1 - You Can Provide Value

Providing value with your content should be your primary goal for conducting a webinar. If you provide value, your audience will stay engaged for minutes, or even hours. Webinars also help you to answer your audience’s questions in real time.

You can also ask questions to your audience and bring about a transformation with your content. If done correctly, webinars can be your highest converting form of marketing.

Reason 2: You Can Interact With Hundreds Of People From Anywhere In The World

Reason 2 - You Can Interact With Hundreds Of People From Anywhere In The World

This is one of the most significant reasons why webinars are the best. Through webinars, you can interact with hundreds of people, at the same time, regardless of their location.

And, yes, you can host a webinar from the comfort of your living room. I will also add that 1-on-1 calls are powerful but imagine this: You are sitting on your office chair, doing a remote webinar that allows you to connect with hundreds of people all over the world, simultaneously.

Through webinars, your audience can chat, share opinions, ask questions, and so on. When someone is asking questions and chatting about what they’re being taught, they’re more focused and engaged.

Reason 3: Webinars Position You As An Expert!

Reason 3 - Webinars Position You As An Expert

When you host the webinar, your attendees think about you as an expert on the topic.

People join with the hope of finding solutions and your content provides them with something valuable and learning from you positions you as an expert.

Reason 4: Your Audience Pays Attention

Reason 4 - Your Audience Pays Attention

Webinars are once-a-month or once-a-week events that are either live or recorded. Your audience knows that if they join late, they will miss something of great value.

Hence, they will make sure to join on time and not miss a single thing. In the case of a YouTube video, the viewers know that they can come back later.

However, that’s not the case with webinars. If your audience misses a small segment, they will feel the pain of missing out.

Reason 5: You Can Generate Qualified Leads

Reason 5 - You Can Generate Qualified Leads

Every Affiliate Marketing business is driven by leads. A business with constant leads will never struggle and webinars are a great way to attract potential customers and convert them into paid customers.

Reason 6: You Build Relationships

Reason 6 - You Build Relationships

Webinars help you provide value and build strong relationships. Webinars give you the power to help your audience why your product is valuable.

They allow you to build personal relationships and have real-time conversations.

Reason 7: You Can Make Sales – A Lot Of Them!

Reason 7 - You Can Make Sales - A Lot Of Them

When you provide value, teach something new, and solve problems, your webinars soft-sell without having to sell. Powerful webinars teach and sell at the same time.

Effective webinars solve problems, handle objections, and deliver value without sharing too much information.

Your content should build expectations, so by the time you reach the selling phase, your audience is already ready to buy. This makes the sale much more natural, and no hard selling is required.

How To Structure Your Webinar?

My mentor recommended dividing the webinar into 5 segments and including them has helped him earn ₹14,69,272 in just 3 webinars!

So without further ado, let’s look at what those 5 segments are.

Segment 1: Webinar Context

According to my mentor, when people join your webinar, you should set the context. In other words, tell them:

  • How long the webinar will last?
  • What will they learn?
  • What is in it for them?
  • What will be the end result of learning in the webinar?
  • What can they do with the knowledge they received?

Another thing that people want to know in the webinar is whether or not it will work for them. Therefore, my mentor says, you should talk about your credentials and the results that you achieved.

However, if do not have any results yet, you can share the results that other people achieved by following the steps you will share.

For example, when I started hosting webinars, I had no results to share. I would talk about the results my mentor achieved.

The third thing you should share with the attendees is the reason for hosting the webinar. Your attendees should know why you are hosting the webinar. Share the real reason, no crap here!

So, in the context-setting phase, you will share:

  • The webinar duration
  • The topic you will cover
  • The outcome you are trying to achieve
  • The results you or somebody achieved
  • The real reason for hosting the webinar

If you’d like to know the duration of each segment, you can join my paid community. I will share what you should share in each minute of your webinar.

Segment 2: Content

This is where you go deep and share the concepts that will help your attendees.

For example, my mentor divides this segment into 3 elements. On each element, he recommends spending 15 minutes.

So the duration of this segment is 45 minutes.

If you want to learn what to cover in each 15-minute timeframe, you can join my paid community

Segment 3: Sales Pitch

In this segment, you share the product pricing, features, and benefits. The sales pitch can be 15 minutes long.

According to my mentor, when it comes to the sales pitch or the offer, there are a few things that you should keep in mind:

  • How do you increase your conversions?
  • How do you structure the webinar minute to minute in such a way that people can see the value and wind up wanting them?
  • The “10x Rule”: If anyone pays ₹1, you should give them ₹10 in value.
  • Adding value, because if you’re not adding value, then you won’t have lifelong customers.

Segment 4: Q&A

My mentor says that you need to have a Q&A session after the sales pitch because many people would want to buy.

Therefore, you need to give them the opportunity for that. Those who are decisive, they will buy during that offer period.

So doing a Q&A after the sales pitch removes resistances, such as:

  • I don’t have time
  • I don’t have money
  • I’m not qualified
  • I cannot speak English
  • I don’t have the technical expertise

After you remove the above resistances, you can open the selling window again and ask them to buy.

Segment 5: Give Gifts

My mentor loves to give gifts towards the end of the webinar and even if people did not buy, they receive an email with gifts!

The gifts are extremely simple such as:

He also sends gifts to the people who did not buy, because he always looks to establish a long-term relationship.

Including this one simple, yet powerful segment during my webinars helped me generate quality leads and later, paying customers.
