Help somebody! Share the knowledge!

In today’s post, I will share all the tools that run my Affiliate Marketing business.

I started Affiliate Marketing full-time a couple of years ago and since then, I have used and implemented many tools and systems for my business.

Today, I will share the current set of tools and systems that are running my business.

But before diving in, I would like to tell you why I started Affiliate Marketing.

I love spending time with my family and doing things I love while earning money. So, I started Affiliate Marketing to help 10,000 people to live a life of financial independence while doing things they love and spending time with people they love.

So, let me now share the tools that I use to run my business.

The tools I am about to share are the pillars of my business and my entire business is built on them.

Word Of Caution

Word Of Caution

All the tools that I use, I pay for them, and if you need free tools this post is not for you.

My mentor advised me to NOT BE CHEAP ON MY JOURNEY TOWARDS GREATNESS and I love investing money in tools that have a huge return on investment.

For instance, I pay $9 to an email marketing platform and it gives me a return on investment of almost 3x.

If you are a beginner, please do not pay for the tools right away! Use the free versions or the free trials first, explore the tools, and pay for them if you feel they can help your business, okay?

And those of you who want to invest can invest! It is up to you! But make sure you know how the tools work before paying, okay? So, let’s dive in!

Affiliate Disclosure: I, Shubhamjeet Kumar, participate in various affiliate programs, and I will earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through the links on this page at no extra cost to you. I have worked hard to put together items that are high-end and helpful.

Tool 01: Website

Tool 01 - Website

The first and the most important system that runs my Affiliate Marketing business is my personal-branded and community website.

Your website will be your home on the Internet. You will post your knowledge, sources, training, and courses, on your website.

Why Do You Need A Website?

Apart from the above aspects, you need a website for the following reasons:

(1) Online Presence

A website serves as your digital identity and a hub for your online activities. It allows you to establish your presence on the internet.

(2) Information And Communication

Your website will be a platform to share information about products, services, projects, events, or any other relevant content. It will allow your audience to access information easily and communicate with you through the form on the contact page.

(3) Accessibility And Convenience

Many hosts provide a 99.99% uptime which means your website will be accessible 24/7 from anywhere in the world, as long as there is an internet connection.

This makes it convenient for your audience to find information, make purchases, or engage with your website’s content at their own pace and preferred time.

(4) E-Commerce And Online Sales

If you have an e-commerce store, you will need a website. It will enable online shopping, showcasing products or services, processing payments, and managing customer orders.

An e-commerce website expands a business’s reach to a global audience and can significantly increase sales.

(5) Branding And Marketing

A well-designed website can help establish and enhance your brand’s image. It allows you to showcase your unique value proposition, display testimonials, highlight achievements, and convey your brand identity effectively.

You can also integrate various marketing strategies, such as search engine optimization (SEO) and social media integration, to attract and engage visitors.

(6) Credibility And Trust

Having a professional-looking website adds credibility to your business. It helps establish trust among visitors, potential customers, clients, or partners.

You can also showcase portfolios, case studies, testimonials, and other elements that contribute to building trust.

These are just a few reasons why having a website can be beneficial. You can create your website for many other reasons that will help establish you and your brand on the Internet.

Where Can You Create A Website?

You can create your website on WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace.

My website is built on WordPress and I would recommend you to build your website on the same, okay?

Tool 02: Hosting

Tool 02 - Hosting

To host your website, you will need a hosting platform.

What is hosting? Hosting is storing your files, managing your website, making it secure, and so on.

In simple words, your website is your house on the Internet and hosting is the land on which you build your online house (your website).

According to my experience, the following 3 platforms are the best in their space. You can blindly go to their platform and host your website.

My top 3 hosting recommendations are:

Tool 03: Domain

Tool 03 - Domain

Continuing the above example, your website is your house on the Internet, hosting is the land on which you build your house on the Internet, and the domain is the address of that house.

Without an address how can anyone visit your house?

You’d need an address to let people reach you, isn’t it?

So, to let people visit your online house (your website), you’d need a domain.

For example, my website shubhamjeetkumar.com is my domain. Similarly, you would need your domain name.

The platform that I use to create domain names is Namecheap. It is the best platform for finding domain names, hands down!

Don’t ask me why, explore yourself and you will find the answer!

Tool 04: Page Builders

Tool 04 - Page Builders

Page builders help you create, edit, and customize the design of your WordPress website without writing any code.

Page builders are WordPress plugins that let you drag and drop elements on the page. You can drag and drop any element – image, header, footer, icons, text, social icons, buttons, videos, and so on – and make your web page aesthetically appealing.

If you are someone with limited to no knowledge of code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery), a page builder will help you in the following ways:

  • You can develop a website with minimum effort rapidly.
  • You can avoid fees and the turnaround time of professional designers and developers.
  • You can create a catchy website with limited or no knowledge
  • You can, if needed, switch between various WordPress themes without a major impact on your website.

Inside my community, I will guide you to create and launch your own website in as little as 6 days.

I have used the most popular page builder – Elementor – to create the home page of my website.

Apart from Elementor, other popular page builders that will enhance the beauty of your websites are as follows:

Tool 05: Graphics

Tool 05 - Graphics

You may have heard this hundreds of times, “a picture is worth a thousand words”. This is so true!

Adding images to your content makes it more appealing. Images also make your content memorable and easy to understand.

According to a study, people remember 80% of what they see and only 20% of what they read.

Research shows that 65% of people are visual learners. MIT found that the human brain can process images in only 13 milliseconds. Images remove language barriers as they are easily understood by everyone.

Images do more than just make your design look more beautiful. As humans, images not only draw our attention but also spark emotions and hold us in.

Hence, if your website has catchy images, there is a greater chance of people viewing and clicking through.

Once people visit your website, images can improve their experience and help present information in an easy-to-digest way.

Through appealing images, visitors are likely to get converted into loyal customers.

Not only this but if you are an e-commerce company, images of your products can induce users to click and eventually purchase.

So if you’d like to add images to your content, you can use tools such as Photoshop. However, if you are not a designer like me, you can use beginner-friendly and easy-to-use tools like Canva.

Tool 06: Business Email Or Professional Email

Tool 06 - Business Email Or Professional Email

I use GoDaddy to create professional emails for my business. You can refer to this link for the steps to create your business email.

Note: You will need your website before creating a professional email.

Why Do You Need A Professional Email?

As per my experience, you will need a professional email for three primary reasons:

(1) Professionalism

A business email creates a more professional image compared to using a generic or personal email address.

It reinforces your brand and shows that you are serious about your business or professional endeavours.

(2) Branding

A business email allows you to use your domain name in the email address (e.g., yourname@yourcompany.com).

This reinforces your brand identity and promotes brand recognition among recipients.

(3) Credibility And Trust

Using a business email address adds credibility and builds trust with clients, customers, and other stakeholders. It conveys that you are a legitimate and trustworthy entity.

Tool 07: Email Marketing Tool

Tool 07 - Email Marketing Tool

Have you ever observed that when you submit a form on any platform, you immediately receive an e-mail from them? Have you ever wondered how it is done?

Let me answer that question for you. When you submit a form on a website, you enter their email list. Based on your form submission, automation is triggered that sends you e-mails every day.

So before I share the E-mail marketing tools, I will share a bit about how they work.

With the help of an e-mail marketing tool, you can create a form and link it to a list.

When people are added to the list, automation is triggered where products, services, and webinars are promoted to the audience, okay?

You can use the e-mail marketing tool to tell people about your content, courses, webinars, products, services, and so on.

Every experienced Affiliate Marketer understands how crucial an e-mail autoresponder is and they use it to capture leads and then send automated e-mails to their audience.

So, I hope you understand how an e-mail marketing tool or an e-mail autoresponder works.

To utilise e-mail marketing, I use Moosend. I use Moosend to create lead forms, campaigns, and triggers, capture leads, and run e-mail marketing campaigns, okay?

Besides Moosend, you can use ConvertKit, Aweber, ActiveCampaign, and GetResponse.

Tool 08: Content Creation Tool

Tool 08 - Content Creation Tool

Sometimes, I use Copy.AI to create content that provides value, helps my audience, and solves their problems.

I know one of the biggest challenges that Affiliate Marketers face is creating content that drives traffic and generates a commission.

I know how frustrating it is when you have an impactful product, but you are unable to create content about it.

I feel how you feel! I have been in your shoes and I felt agitated when the cursor glared into my eyes and I couldn’t write even one paragraph.

So to find a solution to my problem, I opened Google and researched for hours. While surfing the Internet, I came across a tool that helps you write blog posts – in a matter of seconds!

Really!? Yes, yes, really!

The tool is called Copy.AI.

What Is Copy.AI?

Copy.AI is an AI-powered content writing tool that helps you write better content.

Using Copy.AI, you can enter a few keywords and the tool will generate a crisp copy or content for you.

A while ago, I recorded a video illustrating the steps to utilise Copy.AI to create compelling content.

I have placed the video below:

Tool 09: Webinar Tool

Tool 09 - Webinar Tool

You need a webinar tool to conduct webinars, educate people, engage with them, build rapport, and make sales, okay?

Due to the pandemic, many businesses moved online to sell their products, and webinars play a key role in converting visitors into customers.

So, the webinar tool that I would recommend you use for your business and the one that I use is WebinarKit.

You can watch the below video to create and launch your webinar using WebinarKit:

Tool 10: Payment Gateway

Tool 10 - Payment Gateway

A payment gateway will help you accept payments from people if you sell your products – courses, coaching, consulting, etc., okay?

I use Razorpay, Stripe, and CCAVenue to accept payments and I recommend you use the same.

Tool 11: Learning Management System (LMS)

Tool 11 - Learning Management System (LMS)

This system is for those who want to set up their online courses. If you want to record and publish courses, you will need a Learning Management System or LMS.

Through the LMS, you can set up your online school, teach students, and analyze their performance.

Here’s how creating courses will help you with Affiliate Marketing:

  • You can create courses that walk your students through your affiliate product.
  • Below each course video, you should place your affiliate link.
  • Once your students click the affiliate link and buy, you will earn the commission.
  • You will earn from both, your course sales, and your affiliate commissions.

Isn’t this powerful?

I have been using courses as a way of selling my affiliate products since 2021 and they have helped me scale my Affiliate Marketing business up to 3x.

The LMS that I use to host my courses is Knorish. You can also explore other LMSs such as:

Tool 12: Tracking System

Tool 12 - Tracking System

As an Affiliate Marketer, tracking your performance is paramount!

You should be able to track your major traffic sources, the most lucrative channels, the number of times a certain post was viewed, the number of times a particular link was clicked, and so on.

This is where tracking tools enter the picture.

If you are an online course creator, you would want to get insights about your best-performing course, the most popular days when people buy, the channels that drive the most sales, and so on.

Before becoming a full-time Affiliate Marketer, I was a web analyst and I understand the importance of tracking.

Your website analytics will help you understand the online customers, potential customers and their interactions with your website.

If you are a website owner, tracking tools will keep records of the number of pages visited, search engine traffic, etc. on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.

This will also reveal how paid ads are affecting your revenue.

Tracking tools will also enable you to track visitor behaviour, such as, from where they visited your site, how long they stayed, if they were returning visitors or new visitors, which Search Engine they used, the keywords they searched on your site, and so on.

You will also be able to find out the popular pages of your website along with their geographical areas – city, state, country – and language.

Understanding the behaviour of your website’s visitors is vital to running a flourishing business.

With the help of tracking tools like Google Analytics and ClickMagick, you can easily track your website visitors’ behaviour and buying patterns.

Through ClickMagick, you can keep track of how many people clicked your links, you will understand their demographics, and so on.

Tool 13: Sales Funnel Builder

Tool 13 - Sales Funnel Builder

In simple words, a sales funnel or funnel is the stepwise journey of your visitors across your website from the landing page to the thank you page or the last page.

In formal words, “a sales funnel is the process visitors go through to become a customer.”

Each stage of the funnel takes the buyer one step closer to making a purchase, alright?

Keap defines the sales funnel as: “A sales funnel is the marketing term for the journey potential customers go through on the way to purchase. There are several steps to a sales funnel, usually known as the top, middle, and bottom of the funnel, although these steps may vary depending on a company’s sales model.”

I use CartFlows to create all my sales funnels.

How To Create A Sales Funnel Using CartFlows?

A few months ago, I posted the below video on YouTube containing the steps to create a powerful sales funnel for your marketing campaign.

I use CartFlows to create my sales funnels and, believe me, it will make your work so much more effortless!
